Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021, as the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years she's been covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations for FOX News. While there she also covered two impeachment trials for the president as well as the 2020 presidential campaign, and two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. In addition, she traveled with President Trump and Vice President Biden often. The trip included a shady trip to Afghanistan.
